Well, I don't think you could find one better then this one. Just send the guy a holding fee, fly out to San Diego and drive this pony home. Sounds like your work schedule will interfere with building a car.. This one is cheaper then building one from ground up, unless your planning to have Steve help build it for you. TO LATE BILLY IT JUST SOLD!! Only on CL less then 2 hours.

This looks like a good candidate for a V-8 swap. You would need more detailed pics of body and underneath to see what the rust situation is like, but doesn't look too bad from these pics.

There's plenty of good candidates in Georgia listed on FB market place...

It lists a ton of info but not one mention of previous rust repair, any current rust issues, or if it's a rust free car.

Best thing about BaT is there's a comments section where people can ask questions just like that and get responses from the seller.

But it's not a '66.

Ah yessssssssssss..good old Atascadero! Joe Friday use ta work there sometimes.
No kidd'in...just the pictures tell there is a lotta work been done on this one.
Would need more info on the engine/tranny (Cali. has a bunch of these!!) & rear end to go get this one.
(could alway get RPM to pick it up and drive to Carrollton for BILLY) He prolly would enjoy the ride cross country in this Stang!?!
Rust-free...California car....the 'asking price' ain't too bad (edit: Miss-read the price....pretty pricey!)
