What's the easiest way to change these spark plugs?!!
Gotta love 'THE REAL' GT-40!

That’s a Job for little “girly” hands.

This kid is gonna guess a spark plug socket and short box wrench.
Not sure if my girly hands could fit Rudi.😁

You might want to let the engine to cool down a bit first.

A friend of mine had a 67 mustang with a 390 and I had a 69 with a 428. We would have his 12 year old sister change out a couple of the plugs in both cars.

Reminds me of the time a group of us went to the 40th Mustang Anni in Nashville.
The lower PS hose mount became detached and my ham fists were way too big to get at the cramped area to fix it.
The young teen niece of one of the guys helped to get the mounting bolt started and tightened up.
Lots of situations where “girly” hands save the day!😍

Sawzall. It really does solve all problems.

Where did you see that? Looks like mine, I'm thinking of doing some swapping...

Two answers. If it is in a race car, they remove the engine & headers after every race, so no problem.
If a street car, they never run it enough to wear out the plugs, so, again, no problem.
Yeah....I'm a spoil sport.

In a street car the plugs would probably foul all the time from the low RPM operation.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
