    flexplate i.d needed

    Anybody i.d these 2 flexplates both 164 tooth not sure on balance weights 28 or 50 oz

    I compared your gray fp to one I recently removed from an explorer 5.0

    They were close but, not an exact match.

    The one with the bigger weight PLUS having the cutout 180 degrees from the weight is typically indicative of 50 ounce. 

    That said, the one with smaller weight and no opposing cutout is 28.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
