Seat - Armrest Interference

Hi All! I'm reaching out for help to figure out a solution to my seat and armrest interfering with each other. When I fold down my front seat, the edge of the seat brushes/crushes into the armrest. And it's really starting to damage the vinyl on my seat.

It's only happening on the driver's side.

Sure, I could open the door when I fold down the seat, but that isn't always possible in my tiny city garage. I've also tried adjusting the door striker to make more space with no luck.

Or maybe this is supposed to happen (I don't think so) so any suggestions on possible solutions are welcome, thanks!

Re: Seat - Armrest Interference

What about offsetting the seat towards the center of the car?

Re: Seat - Armrest Interference

Stock seats?  Any possibility of the car being equipped with two passenger side seats?

I was thinking the same thing. The seats have offset hinges so they swing towards the center when opened.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
