I thought I would upgrade my 93 Taurus fan. I added a new Champion Foxbody 5.0 Radiator and Derale daul fan.
Seems a little better than the Taurus fan and covers more area on the radiator.

Nice looking install Steve, much cleaner than the Taurus. The new set up looks like it will draw air through all of the rad.
Were you having cooling issues prior?

Yes always have had. As soon as I stop the temp rises quickly. Talking to Dan/Nos681 last night it might be timing. So Ill take another look at that.
Thanks

That's a bodacious looking install. I see you're running AC, power steering and two fans. What kind of electrical load is that? I also see a nice beefy looking alternator. What kind of output is it? Is the new radiator thicker than the old one? After all that install, I hope your O/H issues can be solved. I also hope that the issue wasn't just timing all along.Good Luck!

Nice look'in set up!!
BUTT........not sure I got that much room between my engine and radiator to make it fit!!
Maybe my 66 is a little more compact than your 69!?!
Listen to Lt. Dan!!!...
Don't be skeered to crank some advance into you timing.
Seems the settings recommended for these are for 1969...or 1966 fuel type. Back then 100 octane was what every Mustang got.....with plenty of good-old LEAD and Naptha and Tetra-Ethyl stuff and a bunch of other stuff that made engines run good (and smelled wonderful!) NOW......more lead-time is needed to get "close" to what the old performance settings called for.(Not really 'performance-settings' just average settings!
IF you get a total of 36 degrees at 2000RPM I can almost guarantee a cooler running engine because.....the combustion will be happening in the chamber and NOT partially in the headers.(which make GREAT heaters for under the hood!

. I believe it’s 35 amps on the fan. Me DC controller is 35 amps. I was going to check the timing a few weeks ago and the distributor was stuck to the block. So I’ll have to get it unstuck!..lol. It’s a 130amp Taurus Alternator. The new radiator is about 1” thicker than the old one.

I can't seem to upload pictures from my phone (android). Does anyone else have this issue?
