Trying to learn the differences.
I can only find overall dimensions.
Cobranda has a so called detailed drawing, but leaves me with additional questions.
Not all dimensions jive in my little head
What was differences between the dual quad carb setup and triple double carb setup?
Were the tops the same? …. Like centerlines of wing nuts?
Air filter heights?
I do realize bases were different to accommodate carbs.
Hence the question about centerlines of carb studs for top.
What are the centerlines and distance from edge (or reference point)?

I 'think' size-wize they are all the same. Just the top plate and bottom plates are different. (single/dual/triple)

Definitely eye-candy!!
'Splain to me again why.....the front carb is lower than the middle and rear carb?
Sure there is a good reason.

The carbs are level, the engine is tilted up.

“Al Newman” would be proud of you Steve.
I bet he’s smiling about that combo in heaven now.
Wish I could have met him in person.
The location of the air cleaner on different carb setups is how this topic started…and I started thinking.
Attached are pictures he shared with me Sept 2019.
This is my favorite quote, “I personally would not slow down if I saw a Holley setup lying in the road.”

All three carbs mount in the same plane. Must be optical delusion on your part, sal.
I mocked this up to see if the duraspark larger distributor cap will fit with the three carbs. It does, just barely. I think I will try to find one of the older style small caps that has the male terminal ends on it. I do not like the way wires fit into the original caps having female terminals.

Those pictures look like Autolite 2100 carbs. MS carbs look like Holley

NOS681 - very nice setup. love the look. Do you know what the large hose is that goes to what appears to be the windshield washer pump installed on the driver's side inner fender? I've never seen anything like that.

Bob, I believe it a/c hose to firewall.
Just resting on wiper pump.
I can see another hose by radiator too.
Here’s history of this car from “Al Newman” himself:
Dan,
This ride was built in 1998 as per the customer's instructions (I later married her). She wanted bone stock 289, consented to a 5-speed, refused air, disk brakes, power steering, even a working radio. I kept the 289 stock except for a flat tappet Comp 270 cam and flat top pistons with a,.030 overbore. Exhaust is hipo (not a big fan of headers). Mufflers are pretty standard. Running a 3.25 single track rear end. Car gets mid to upper 20's on road when she drives, not as good when I drive. Interior is bone stock, except for a roll bar. Car was built as a driver, but my staff talked her into showing it. Won best in class, or best of show each time she showed it for next six years. Drove it to Nashville for 2004 Anniversary just for fun. Did not show it, but Mr. Shelby stopped in our parking lot and complemented my wife on the car. Catch 22, here. Too old school to show, and too nice to drive.
Best,
Larry
