Thank you MS for the info. on how you blended the two pieces together. My spacers were painstakingly  polished to match the heads. Valve covers are crinkle black Ford Racing. Different combination to blend two colors together on mine. Looks like you are just using hex head bolts. I like that idea better.

They only sell on ebay. Prices have gone way up. The last pair cost $194 shipped with tax.

I have a set of 1-3/8” spacers. If anyone had a metal-cutting band saw with a rip guide, they would easily be made into two or maybe even three sets.

If I had a lathe, I would cut down the four offending rocker arm nuts so they cleared the baffles, eliminating the need for all this extra effort.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Could you just rework the baffle instead?  I did that on the pair I used on the 331 for my '89 GT.

65 Fastback, 351W, 5-speed, 4 wheel discs, 9" rear,  R&C Front End.

And...if you are running Ford EFI you can remove the baffles, as I did, since the Ford PCV is at the rear of the lower intake manifold and fresh air enters the crankcase through the valve cover.   No suckem' out of the valve covers.

I have that same power steering pump for my Unisteer rack.  I had a hell of time making it fit my 5.0 serpentine belt system.

Seems like a legit reason to purchase a lathe.  I’ve had one for nearly 20 years and couldn’t imagine not having it.
