Re: Looking for a good quality carpet for 65

I am using ACC carpet, nice quality, fit, and styles.
They even make a trunk kits to match the interior too.
I went with the Essex mass backed.

Rock Auto is where I purchased my carpet.
It’s under interior/flooring.

Re: Looking for a good quality carpet for 65

When my SIL had an auto trim shop he got a cut pile molded carpet made by ACC. The fit around the tunnel hump was way off and had to be cut to fit properly, luckily the console covered the slit.
Other than that I like  the look much better than loop pile which reminds me of cheap tract house floor covering.

Re: Looking for a good quality carpet for 65

For me, I prefer the soft feel of cut pile over the loop.  So back in 2013 I ordered the ACC mass back black cut pile for my '68.  I'm still very happy with it.

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

I prefer the original look of the loop pile.
ACC mass back is my preference.

Cut pile is much easier on the knees and elbows than loop pile, learned that in my teens.😱

Re: Looking for a good quality carpet for 65

Last year I replaced the fold-down seat carpet with ACC-Essx, 100% nylon, purchased from Rock Auto, and am pleased with it.
