Something I learned while replacing the clutch on the 05 Mustang

I got the 05 Mustang is back in operation and is driving like a charm.  I went with their street level clutch kit and the car is even easier to drive now.  Even Melody has noticed a difference.  All of that to say, while reassembling I used some Dow Corning Molykote Valve Lubricant and Sealant on the rubber bushings and joints for the shifter and it's significantly improved the smoothness and ease of shifting.  Before, when I dropped the tranny those bushings were dry as a bone.  The pure silicone grease is the way to go!

Is your leg effort lower with the new clutch?  I know you had complaints about the pedal effort previously.
What brand did you wind up with?

I went with McLeod street kit.  The clutch pedal feels better, but I wouldn't say it is immensely better.  What IS significantly better is knowing where the clutch release is.  I know exactly where it is now.  Before it was vague.
