I wonder how that will affect inward flights from countries still using halon? Planes have been the only legal use of halon here since last century.

You have to be careful of what type of extinguisher you use in over the road vehicles because the extinguishing agent can pack down from the vibrations. When you charge the extinguisher for use it won't fluidize the extinguishing agent expel the contents.
