Don’t worry, that power steering tube will get replaced with correct bends to mate to the borgeson hp line.

Looking good. There really is a ton of room. My 69 currently has a 302 in it but I'm thinking about building a 390 for it. The only reason I am hesitant to put in a FE is I don't want to lose all that room!

And to top it all off, this is the ride height resulting from installation of Scott Drake progressive springs with Shelby drop. Yes, the car has been rolled back and forth repeatedly. Surely, this will drop a bit, but this is totally unacceptable. I was hoping they had the springs figured out by now.

Regarding the ride height, I agree, it may drop a bit but not as much as, I believe, you’ll want.
The engine fits real nice, I wish the early models had that much room.

The rear have been replaced by springs for a 428 convertible. Webb site says original lift but I don't believe it. On the other hand I never paid attention to it till talk on here. The front are factory original for a 6 cyl convertible. I did the Drop and it seemed to lower the front end a lot. The tires a re still splayed out after the alignment. That makes me think they didn't do it according to specs I gave them. The pic is before the new springs.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
