I hope you're a small guy. Reviews I've seen for tall or normal guys said the seats are narrow and high off the floor.

Daze has a description of how he used factory rails on aftermarket seats.

Re: Ordered a set of Procar Elites 1100 series ....how are yall mounting

I used stock Mustang tracks. The ones that came with the seats were a joke.
I used two sets of tracks. Cut them apart and welded back together to make tracks 4” longer than original. Then redrilled the elites and positioned the tracks way forward on the seats so the seats sit father to the rear. I think they fit perfectly that way. Very comfortable to drive now. They have been in the 66 for many years now.  Not too tall. Not too low.

Must be a lot of folks with small a$$es, the Jegs site says the Elite seats come in 10” and 12” widths.
I’ve had bicycle seats that wide!🤪

Re: Ordered a set of Procar Elites 1100 series ....how are yall mounting

Well, if I get tired I can stretch out with my feet barely touching the armrest, and my head barely touching the opposite armrest.   Bench seats and big cars have their place for us fat guys!

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

Bill - FYI, the Jegs site has the dimensions of the seat listed, that 12" mesurement (as does the Scat website) is at the front of the seat.  This may still be a bit too narrow, but check out the other measurements.

Never mind, just re-looked at the dimensions, doesn't seem to make sense, that is very narrow, suggest contacting Scat.

Bill I am looking at the Elite Lumber from Scat since they are similar in stitching to my original seats in my 68 cougar

Re: Ordered a set of Procar Elites 1100 series ....how are yall mounting

The 12” width is the flat part of the seat between the bolstered sides. The seats are quite comfortable. The bolstered sides of the backrest were a bit tight when I weighed 235.  At 170, they fit just right.
