Trying to help a friend. He is trying to help a widow sell her husbands car. 1995 SVT Cobra. It appears to be a stick. I do have a few photos I can send to anyone that might be interested. I will try to post photos here but that doesn't always work for me. Mileage is 107000. Ran when parked. I don't know how long ago that was. I don't have a price at this time.
Let me know if anyone is interested.

All Cobras are stick. They use a Cobra specific version of the T5 5 speed. If you need any info to help sell it let me know. One of my best friends has a '95 Cobra, so I know the cars really well.

I will check on the price and AC question BILLY.
Thanks for the offer of help TKO. I haven't even seen the car myself at this time. A good friend is trying to help the lady with the sale.

Now.................we talking COBRA(like in AC roadster) or a Shelby?
HUGE difference in money..........
Cobras are usually SEVEN FIGURES where as Shelbys are more reasonably priced in the SIX figure bracket.

Sorry Sal for the miscommunication. I made a correction on the original post to prevent confusion. Thanks Dan for clarifying.

Not the roadster by any means, but the SN95 Cobras were the last of the 5.0 powered Mustangs. They had the killer brakes (13" front, 11.65" rear), but had 5 lug wheels unlike the Fox cars. The engine has been claimed at 235, 245, and even up to 350HP from the factory. What I can tell you is that even stock they were quite fast for the day. The coupes would easily track in the high 13s with a decent driver on street tires.
The interior was more comfortable and ergonomic than the Fox cars. They had the Mach460 sound system as an option that was a really good factory system. Also, the speedo didn't stop at 85 (another upgrade from the Fox cars).
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
