Hagerty insurance

Anyone here renew their Hagerty insurance with the “Value Analysis” endorsement?
I just renewed mine and paid the extra  $40cdn premium.
My previous appraisal was really outdated and I can submit photos and description of all upgrades I have done to the car and using the tools on their web site get a new value for replacement.
Hopefully I can get a substantial increase in value because of the stuff I did to the car.
Just wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with the procedure?

Re: Hagerty insurance

I have Condon and Skelly.  I had raised my from 40K to 50K a few months ago.  They requested some
resent pics and that was it.  Premiums I think went up a additional $40 a year.

Re: Hagerty insurance

I use Grundy.  They raise it automatically every year.

Re: Hagerty insurance

Hagerty never questions when I raise the the value of my four cars I have insured with them. I justify it ("new motor", "paintwork", etc.) and tell them how much to increase the value. Bam!, Done. Piece of cake.
FYI: They cared more about the security at the storage unit where I sometimes garage the car.

Re: Hagerty insurance

I have not had a rate increase from them in over 5 years with the same agreed value.
I have renewed with them and will be going through the increase in value with submitted photos and description of new modifications.
I’ll post the results when done.

Re: Hagerty insurance

I have Haggerty - I don't know if I have the "Value Analysis" on my policy - they seem to automatically raise the value a few percent per year. It looks like my Mustang is valued far above market price, and I could probably save a small amount per year by reducing the agreed value - but I just leave it alone. I had no problem last year when my Mustang was damaged by falling objects in my garage. ( my own fault for overloading my parts shelf). Haggerty did not change my premium, and the classic car repair place that they recommended to do the work did an amazing repair job. The car is definitely better now than before the damage.

Re: Hagerty insurance

I have Hagerty with an agreed value of $35k. I recently added the Cherished Salvage coverage also. I've never had to use my coverage and Hagerty doesn't seem to raise my coverage every year - not an issue for me as the car is overvalued anyway.
