Alleged 750cfm.....how to know???

Hi all, a friend purchased a Grabber Blue, extremely original and numbers matching 351C 1970 Mach.

Bolted to it is a Holley Vacuum Secondary dual inlet with what I understand to have factory ford kickdown Linkage.

Now the car was ordered with a 4spd, and still has it, which is giving me reason to believe that carb is not original.

I'm going to attach some photos if anyone can help to decode it.

Many tha is,
Jeff

3310-2 is an early 750cfm Holley.

Re: Alleged 750cfm.....how to know???

The 0487 is supposed to be the build date. Holley went to 4 digit date codes after 1973.

A Ford carb would have a number like C9xx-9510-x or D0xx-9510-x depending on the build date of the car.

Re: Alleged 750cfm.....how to know???

So does this mean it's not a Ford /Holley carburetor?

If not, any idea for what?  I was always aware of the C9 D0 thing, which is part of what confused me and lead me here.

Re: Alleged 750cfm.....how to know???

3310-2 is a generic Holley, never came on a car with that number.
You can still buy one through Summit, but with a later dash-number.  I have a 3310-9 In the drawer.

Re: Alleged 750cfm.....how to know???

From what I have read in the past, the 3310 was developed for Chev-ro-let big blocks.
