Daze whatever happened to the 351w lifter problem?

I was wondering.  I moved my heads around in my shop and I noticed the E7 heads need the thermactor plugs on the end.

I went and rewatched the video.    It just couldn't be that simple...

Update?

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

Re: Daze whatever happened to the 351w lifter problem?

Plugs were installed.  I never did find the problem and gave up.  Block went to the machine shop and I ordered a 393 stroker kit on Nov 19th with an estimated ship date of Feb 2nd.  I still have not gotten my stroker kit and they have had a lot of my money for over 6 months 😡 I called eagle last week and a very rude tech person said they are weighting on the connecting rods.  They are hoping to have them in August some time.  I totally get, and am understanding with supply chain issues BUT having to pay up front and rude customer service makes it far less likely that I will do business with Eagle again (through Summit like this order or directly)

If it isn't broken...modify it anyway! http://www.DazeCars.com https://galaxieforum.boardhost.com
