I like that MS 👌 It suits the car!
Where did you get the Hurst shifter boot from? I purchased a shifter boot a few years ago and it's already tearing.

Ok, you just can't take an overhead pic and think that'll do. Throw me a bone here. Where'd you buy it, how did it mount? C'mon, you know the routine.
Please?

Re: Console, gauges and cup holder in my 69

I don't normally critique these things...oh he'll ya I do, but I think it looks cool with one exception.   Somehow need to match the color of the console and the gauge pod.

Other than that I think it looks great and I have zero room to talk.

Looks good, blame it on the camera angle

Re: Console, gauges and cup holder in my 69

The cupholder came from Amazon. It is designed to fit between seat and console and had a vertical part on the bottom, which I cut off to fit this location. It came black with red stitching. I painted it with black satin vinyl dye, same as the gauge cluster, which came out looking different. They look fine in the car. The camera picks up and amplifies the difference.

Stock Hurst shifter boot from Summit. Same as 70 four speed boot.

Re: Console, gauges and cup holder in my 69

Looks great!  Im still debating on where to put the cup holder on my console.  Did you attach the cupholder on to the console?  When I had the gauges in the ashtray the lower heat adjuster hit on them.  Did you modify that a bit?

Re: Console, gauges and cup holder in my 69

Thanks Steve. I bought a nearly identical one that I quit using between the seat and console cuz it sucked. Never thought to use it like you did. How did you mount it to the console?

I rebent the AC control lever to clear the top of the gauges. Can’t just bend it upwards or it looks funny. Mine has a dogleg bend so it comes out looking right.

This car used to have a humphugger console but anything pls ed in the cupholders got in the way of my arm when shifting gears.  Off to the side is the best location for me.

Drilled three holes on passenger side of the condole and one into the driveshaft tunnel. Fits good!

Out of all the comments I have gotten on ANY of my posts, the one about cupholders has gotten the most responses.

LOL   Thanks for the info.  I remember back in the day having those flimsy holders that hung
on the side window and felt.  One quick stop and you drink was flying at the dash and on the floor.  I wanted to mount something on the console or make something that looked good and kept the drinks in place.  That middle slot for your phone will be handy too!
