Staying cool in Seattle - 75-80 today, next week will be in the mid 90's for a few days then cooling down again. I pity those who live in the hotter climes. Maybe I'll take a drive in the Mustang with my 4-60 air conditioning - 4 windows down and 60mph.

Knoxville, TN right now is 92 deg with humidity only at 52%, so it feels pretty good.  I've been doing grass mowing today.  Big yard so still lots to do before finishing it.  No complaints though, I'm happy. 

And to top it off, the AC in my BMW quit working.  The car sits in the garage with the top down and is used for going to the pool and short evening drives. The first time in months the top got put up today, and just hot air blowing out the vents.  I always bragged how cold the AC was on that car!   

Now, my 69 and 66 Mustangs have much better working air conditioning.  I am thinking about installing a new dryer on the 66, then pull a vacuum on it for a couple hours and add new freon.  Hopefully to make it blow as cold as the same system on the 69.

Vintage Air instructions state to install a certain number of ounces. Amounted to 2.5 cans. I put that in, the gauge numbers looked good, and I am happy with it.

Been pretty brutal here.  Nothing special, just a typical July in DE.  High hit 98 on Sunday.  Much more tolerable today.  The issue is the humidity is high, and I've been working in direct sunlight. Can't wait to wrap up this project so I can move on to some bath remodels.  Working days and then having to mow at night just before it gets dark it tough too.  Fortunately my oldest is now mowing the field, so I spend 1.25 hours less on it than I used to.
