I went to this great swap meet this weekend. It is held in a park that is very hilly, so you get a workout. I found some great deals on Mustang parts. Including parts for my 65 convertible, which I do not even own yet!
And thanks very much to Cougarman for lugging that wagon around, loaded mostly with MY pile of purchases!

Is it a regularly scheduled swap meet like Canton? Or was it a one time deal? I could probably convince the wife to make a weekend trip down to Fredericksburg.

It's an annual affair. But a swap meet in Texas the last weekend of July? Did nobody tell them it's generally pretty hot that time of year?

It was under 100. Slight breeze. Lots of dust. Some clouds overhead.
Perfect day!!! What’s not to like?
Looking forward to Waco swap meet in August. Maybe it will warm up a bit for that one.

There were no dust devils or tumble weeds at the Mustang show in Buffalo on the week end but it was hot and humid.

Is anyone aware of any other Texas swap meets that generally have a decent amount of Mustang parts?

I really really really need to make it to Waco on the 25th.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
