Doug, are you referring to Bars Leak brown mess radiator stop leak?
I stops up a radiator too.
Used it once.

Most who have experience with Bars Leaks only used it ONCE.
SOFTENED HOSES
PLUGGED HEATER CORE
RECURRING LEAKS
A HUGE MESS TO FIX LATER
Maybe they improved it? I think my last and only use was around 1982
