    Question for MS

    When on I came over and picked up the R&P we had a  short discussion on a tool to seperate tie rod ends.  You recommended a tool obtainable from HF.  Tell me the name again, please.  Senility, alzheimers, etc has struck again.  Tried going to HF and prowling through the pages, but I'd probably expire before I found it.  Thanks, Jerry

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vweCmGwBiU  Shows the tool in action.  The guy said it stripped out after three uses.  Welll, duh... no lube on the threads and using an impact wrench on it...  I used mine by hand on several things... ball joints and tie rods on my 66, tie rods on the 2007, plus all 20 wheel studs on the 07.

    Oil it and use a hand-driven socket and it works great.

    Ball joint removal tool.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

    Harbor Freight tool part number is: 99849.  
    Search their site for this number and you'll find it.
