Granada steel rim dimensions?

Hello All,
It's been a while since I have posted here since life kinda got in the was of my '66 restoration project but I am back and you should see more of me again tapping the vast knowlege of all of the gurus who frequent this site!

I am getting ready to hit the local pick a part's in the next day or two in search of Granada steel rims for my project and was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions I should be looking out for such as the backspace from the back of the rim to the mounting flange and what all the models this rim came on were.

I apologize in advance if this topic has been addressed in the past but my check of the search engine produced nothing. I really appreciate the help!!!

                  Regards,
                         Dave

Re: Granada steel rim dimensions?

Granadas came with 14x6 wheels with 3.5" BS. They also had their own version of a non-chrome Magnum 500 wheel with same dimensions.  The Cougar or LTDII non-chrome Magnums were 14x7 with 4" backspacing.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Re: Granada steel rim dimensions?

Not sure about all the backspacing dimensions but I installed Granada 14" rims on my '65 when I did the front disc brakes.  They were 14" x 6" whereas the stock steel wheels were only 4.5 wide.  I am not sure in which direction the extra width was place, in or out, but I suspect some of it was outward.

Here is a picture of mine.  They seem to fill out the wheelwell a  little better than the stock wheels did.
