1966 Mustang Coupe, 5.0 Swap, EFI
How the heck do you install these things? I tried pressing them into the groove with no success. Seems like they are just too big. Any trick to getting this into place. When I took the vent window off I noticed they were missing from both doors.

Liberally apply silicone spray or lithium grease and push one end of the dovetail into the bracket slot and gradually push the rest in a bit at a time.
Don’t try to get it all in at one time.

I'm not sure why, but my one door (I forget which) I had to leave them off so the window could roll down all the way. Doesn't make sense, but I gave up trying to figure out why. These are the original doors.

I ended up just trimming back the inserted porting just a bit. The rubber was starting to tear from pressing it in so hard anyway. Looks like this is the best way.
