Bridge jack

Well I finely broke down and bought my Atlas Bridge jack so I can work on all the other cars, lol
And I am having to replace the front cable due to outside strands braking...this was a surprise

Slammed Big Blue, ran over the varmints that messed with the Stang. Now all is good in the NW

Re: Bridge jack

I'd have to take the floor out of the bedroom above my garage to install a lift.  I did suggest this to my wife, she said she'd think about it ... that was three years ago!
And yes, I'm jealous of anyone who has a lift.

Re: Bridge jack

I share your envy, I’d need two holes in my garages upper floor for a two post lift.
All because of three inch longer posts than the bottom of the upstairs floor to garage floor.

Just put the holes in and set the bed or table over them

Re: Bridge jack

LOL! It’s the second floor of my shop used for storage and wood shop working area.
I thought about boxing the holes. Don’t need any more tripping obstacles.

Re: Bridge jack

My garage at home has 8 foot ceiling and I have my 4 post lift here. I just use a roll around low seat or creeper and don't raise the car too high. It is wonderful. I can even catch a little nap while at it. I have a building across town with my two post lift there that is an extra wide and extra tall one for trucks and such. I use them both quite often. So I would not hesitate to put a 4 post in even if you can't party under it with a car on it. If I only had one lift it would be a four post with a bridge jack. I did everything on it till I got the two post one.

Re: Bridge jack

well my bridge jack arrived today, it got lost in shipping but is now in its forever home. And not that you all will care but my 67 C10 clears it without the cups by 3/4" I think the Stang will too.
