Only been able to find Valvoline 10w-40 convential oil non-synthetic at Amazon and only really in 5 quart jugs there....what the heck????
that's what I wanna run but may need to change if it's not an easy find at local stores.

I would go to Amsoil personally. Best oil you can buy IMO. Certain oils have been hard to find due to an issue getting certain additives I've been told. I run Shell Rotella T6 5W40 synthetic in my F250 Diesel and I've had to pay twice what it used to cost and search high and low to find it for the last three oil changes in that truck. I used to buy it for under $19/gallon. An oil change is 3.5 gallons in that truck.

After break in I have used Castrol 5-40 Eurospec in m 331. I pay 36 bucks cdn for 5 litre jug.

Believe it or not try Walmart online for what you are looking for, that's where I buy Valvoline VR1. They ship almost as fast as Amazon and are *significantly* cheaper for that item.

The only place local place I have found the Valvoline you mention is at the NAPA store. None of the other "usual suspects" dedicate shelf space for it anymore.

I had tried there and it said not available.....I been getting it for 29.99 on amazon 5 qt jug
