Anyone have a picture of the trophy,  I know BoltedToFloor won, but I never saw what the trophy looked like!

Re: Picture of Spark Plug Changing Contest TROPHY

OK, I found the pics BB1 sent to me.  Thanks to BB1 for making this cool trophy. And thanks to John Warley whose stroker engine I built for him donated the original 5:0 rod and piston (unknown to him until now).   😎

Re: Picture of Spark Plug Changing Contest TROPHY

Glad you got a picture. Its a cool trophy and proudly displayed on my book cabinet at the office. I did notice the rod had a C8 part number and the piston is an E7. I wonder if the 2 plugs per piston technology will catch on??

I have to say that (correct me if I'm wrong - senior moment) I believe that I have the honor of being the first winner of the Spark Plug Changing Contest at MustangSteve's Birthday Bash #1 in Carrollton Texas. My prize was a Craftsman SAE Tap and Die set. I still have that set and use it regularly. (Or maybe it was the one at the lake near Ovilla...)

Re: Picture of Spark Plug Changing Contest TROPHY

Ron, the prize at the first bash was a SnapOn ratchet. Yours was probably from the bash at the lake when I was in Ovilla. As my memory works, which could be wrong.  But I do remember the ratchet being first.

When I owned the company and had a budget for the prizes, my goal was always to give a prize that the winner would keep forever, always remembering who they got it from.

Thank you for confirming that plan has worked.
