COTA

Any of you lucky Texans going to take in the F1 race this week end ?
I’ve been a big F1 fan for about thirty years, seeing one in person is on the bucket list.

Over 100,000 people per day will funnel into Austin for this race. I do not like big crowds.  Unless they ask me to pace again, I won’t be going.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Formula 1 does not have what is called pace cars they are called safety cars and predetermined either AMG GT R Black Edition or the bespoke Aston Martin Vantage, same as last year.
The Mercedes is 700hp and 528 hp Aston can reach 200mph but usually get up to 150 on the straights, both are twin turbo 4.0 L V8.
