About to install my Vintage air wiring in conjunction with my American autowire harness on 67 Fastback
There are gauge wires and circuit breaker in the Vintage air harness. Instruction say to run directly to battery.
I have a large gauge wire under the dash for 12 volts for heater or AC.
Should i just connect to the AWW feed underdash or run these additional wires all the way out to the battery ?
Just curious what you guys recommend or have done ?

I took a similar path with a Vintage Air and Painless wiring harness several years ago. I remember struggling with the need to take the power and ground back to the battery.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember what I did!! I captured it in my notes that I won’t be able to look at till the middle of next week.

Because I installed the Vintage Air Gen 4 a year after I built a completely custom wiring harness, I had about the same problem you face. As cleanly as I could, I ran the Vintage main hot wire to the battery side of the solenoid and the ground to the back of the right cyl. head where all the EFI grounds are laid down. The engine, chassis, and battery are properly bonded together so that is close enough to "connected to the battery". Works fine. You need to remember that most of these instructions are written for people that may not understand anything about electricity. Just sayin'.
