Billy,

I'm not sure what you mean by "they"...

I have a nice aftermarket one for stock 65-66 radiators.  It is essentially the same as the one that Bullet Bob custom made for his 66 with the bigger radiator.  New, never installed.

Look for a pm with my cell number.

Re: Do they make a radiator shroud for 64-66 Mustang besides the metal one

I have a 20" with a left outlet, Billy.  I took a couple of evenings and made a shroud to properly fit that radiator with a 17" fan.  Probably could have bought one for $100 but why would I do that when it only took 8 or 9 hours to fab?

BB - I'm looking for some ideas for a fan shroud.  If you have a picture of the shroud you made, please post.

Re: Do they make a radiator shroud for 64-66 Mustang besides the metal one

First I determined the exact center of the fan on the radiator and built some simple forms.

Then using a shot bag and mallet I formed the corner pieces and the ring.

Then it was a matter of tacking the pieces together and final fitting to the radiator.

Finish welding and some filler here and there and a little primer it starts looking like it might work.

And it actually fit the radiator and has been working great for nearly 15 years.

BobE,
The one I have is a Nothern fan shroud part number Z40025.  I wasn't trying to keep secrets.  I find posting pics challenging.  It won't fit oversize radiators in the 65/66 cars.  Basically, it is a box that covers the radiator, and you cut a fan sized hole in the box, and install a band ring around the hole you cut.

Tim - thank you, I looked up the Northern shroud on-line, it does give me some ideas.

Re: Do they make a radiator shroud for 64-66 Mustang besides the metal one

Thanks guys.  Now...if I could only make a pretty weld....
Really though, most of my stuff works but isn't necessarily pretty.  I just have always enjoyed making usable stuff from raw materials.  More fun than buying it, usually.   Like a number of us in this hobby, nobody ever told us, "you can't do that".  And if they did, we didn't listen.
Next chance you get check out the front end under BB2's '69.  Now THAT's nice fab work.  There's a lot of talent on this forum.
