A/C condensor on 65 Mustang

after doing a 24 inch upgrade on Radiator how did you mount the condensor back. MustangSteve had told me he used a 67 mounting kit . But as I google it only thing that comes up is 65-66 bracket kit. I could probaly fab some up but I have limited time at the moment.

Its really me....I fixed my caps lock .

Re: A/C condensor on 65 Mustang

I have a Classic Auto Air daily driver system.
My condenser mount brackets slip behind the hood release latch assembly.

You could use larger zip ties to TEMPORARILY support until you can fab or buy brackets.

Re: A/C condensor on 65 Mustang

I have that same condenser in a 20".  Made a couple of brackets off the right and left that bolt to the core support and hold the condenser in front of the radiator.  Mine is flipped over with the hose connections on the right side.  My entire system is on the right side with the hoses going through the original heater blower motor hole.
Here's a link to the same type of condenser in a 24" from Nostalgic AC Parts which is where I bought all the under hood parts for my system...except the custom hoses and the parts I made.
