ConceptOne Serpentine Pulley System

I have been looking at the ConceptOne serpentine pulley system that mounts the AC compressor Low on the Passenger side.
Anybody have that setup on their 65-66?
Wondering if there would be any problems routing the lines from the AC compressor to the firewall/evaporator and to the condensor?
Is there enough room to route the AC lines through the bottom of the engine compartment instead of up by the valve covers?

Re: ConceptOne Serpentine Pulley System

Is your A/C system original or an aftermarket system?
Are you planning to leave the condenser connections on the driver's side?
Except for exposing the A/C lines to potential road hazards on the bottom of the engine compartment, I wouldn't think there would be an issue.

I have no AC system yet. I was mainly wondering if it's possible(enough room) to run the AC lines down low. To me, it looks like there is not enough room to run them low and get around the headers.

Re: ConceptOne Serpentine Pulley System

My AC system is all on the right side and I do not think you would be happy with the lines down low by the headers.  You might be able to run them outside of the fender apron...I think someone on here said that's what they were planning.....maybe Glens65 5,0.  My  compressor is high and the lines run at about rocker cover height back to the original blower motor hole.  Up front they go under the battery box through the core support.  Hard lines outside the fender would be more work but definitely neater, but watch out for tire contact.

Re: ConceptOne Serpentine Pulley System

I have my compressor down low under alternator on passenger side.

I wish i had ran the ac lines out the side of the cowl panel or firewall behind fender apron.

Just gets crowed with ac lines and heater hoses. doesn't look bad. Much better than factory with hoses mounted everywhere.  Condenser flipped around so all lines and dryer on passender side

That looks good. The black hoses blend in with the black engine bay.

Re: ConceptOne Serpentine Pulley System

I also painted all of the aluminum dryer lines that sit in front of the radiator so once grill and everything is in they will blend in better.
