I knew a guy named Larry once. Larry bled Ford Blue constantly. While everyone in high school was a Chevy fan, Larry got his hands on a 50's corvette. First thing he did with that car was drop a SBF into it. To this day Larry still is a Ford guy! He brings a different one every Saturday to '"Donuts Derelicts"

Three hours one way, plus driving thru LA is a bit far for even me. To bad it wasn't closer or I'd make the trip.

I saw a '68 or '69 Camaro that had a modified 4BT Cummins in it. Ran 9s in the 1/4. People get WAY too hung up on brand loyalty, which trust me, is overrated (that brand isn't 1/5 as loyal to you as you are to it). Fast is fast, period. How you get there is just semantics.

Im a Ford guy and feel a disturbance in the force with anything but Ford/Ford, Chevy/Chevy and Chrysler/Chrysler power. But truly understand why a builder may choose to go in a different direction. When I worked in IT we were not apposed to the “Best of Breed” philosophy. We have all seen this idea applied toward parts... Ford 9”, Chevy canned ham power steering pump, etc. etc. etc.Currently, there are some very intriguing power plant conversions out there. Mid-engine Honda/Ecoboost Classic Mini Coopers, Subaru VW Bugs, EV anything (sept pick-ups and 4wd). Its gunna be interesting to see whats coming around the corner!

I totally agree.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
