Typically they go to a plate system because at some point you risk tearing the mount point out of the block. Regular motor mounts are suspect on a 5.0 block at around 600HP, which is also the point at which the entire block becomes suspect. You could use the factory mounts, but would be wise to add a torque strap at the very least.

I bet the engine is plate mounted and that is just a bracket to hold that tube.
