FIRST
Use the link above to reserve your rooms for Friday and Saturday night. 9/29/2023 and 9/30/2023. With checkout on 10/1/2023
DO NOT BOOK THURSDAY NIGHT ON THE WEB PAGE OR YOU WILL PAY THE HIGHER RATE FOR THURSDAY.
It will set you up with the rate of $249 per night plus tax for those two nights. The link should direct you to a website set up for the MustangSteve Bash.
SECOND
If you are also staying THURSDAY NIGHT, 9/28/2023 you will need to call the hotel Sales Manager, Matilda Leijas, (830) 626-4700, ext 4713 and set that up separately to get the $159 rate. Their website will only allow booking where all days are same price, so this is required to get the special Thursday rate. Be sure to tell her you already have your Friday and Saturday nights booked at the MustangSteve rate so she can be sure you get three nights in a row scheduled in the same room.
Matilda. 830-626-4700 extension 4713
Email is Matilda.Laijas@OldhamGoodwin.com
All reservations must be made by August 29, 2023
Please reserve as soon as you can. We have a block of 15 rooms that must be booked in order to secure the rates offered, with more available if needed.
Please let me know once you book so I can keep tabs of the number of rooms we will need.

If anyone is looking for a more budget friendly option I am staying 1.5 miles down the road for $145 a night including taxes AND it has free breakfast.should be a really nice hotel. The cost of the “chosen” bash hotel almost priced me out of being able to come. Thought I would share my findings just in case someone else was in a similar situation.

Flaming Pony posted today (3/20) he got the last room in the block so there’s probably gonna be folks including me interested in knowing which motel so please post some details.

So Daze - now that you've saved all that money by getting a better deal, then that must mean that you will buy the first round, right?

I am staying at:
Candlewood Suites New Braunfels
1471 IH 35 North
New Braunfels, TX United States 78130
Hotel Front Desk: 18303874014
It's in the holiday inn family of hotels. Rooms have a kitchenette and they have fantastic breakfast... at least the ones I have stayed at in other states do, never stayed at this one.

I will be flying into San Antonio International (SAT). Arriving Thursday, 28 September at 5:00 pm local. Renting a car then will drive to New Braunfels to the Courtyard New Braunfels River Village hotel.

Daze, I am glad you will be making the trip, no matter where you decide to stay.

I wish I could afford to stay with the group I know I will miss out a little bit... spent too much on 393w parts 😂 I hope it didn't come across like I was complaining or trying to hijack your bash. The only reason I mentioned it is by the time you figure in breakfast its a fairly large cost savings and didn't want someone who was on the fence to not come because it was just slightly more than they could afford. This way there was another option. I am just glad my wife suggested I look at a different hotel. It never even occurred to me and I was feeling like I was not going to be able to make it work.... Always listen to the wife 😁

I had talked with the Candlewood Suites when I was researching for a hotel. While probably a great place for individuals to stay, it did not meet all the requirements to accommodate a large group hanging out in their lobby.
Again, I am glad you are making the trip.

Me too!!! I’m sure you picked the best location. It’s my problem that it is out of my budget.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
