Yes, that was what I was saying, remove 43252. I said it in the other thread. That was a copy of the illustration I found on the net, exactly as I found it. I did not draw the circle. I just got ahead of myself and posted the drawing. Thank you for clarification. I should have explained my thoughts better.

Another thought….
Did the T-bird have a remote opener as well?
Might be able to pop the trunk open without disassembling anything.
I know my 65 has the capability of remote open on factory trunk latch built into it.
I have tried it out too…many years ago.

Thanks guys, figured I was going through the back seat but that helps clarify what I'll be looking for. No remote open Dan, I wouldn't be that lucky.
