Bo and his Mom did tag-team driving straight through from Phoenix (14 hours) to pick it up. Then headed to Cooper’s BBQ and then back to Phoenix, all without a stopover.
I have never stuck a 5.0 shortblock in the back hatch of a Chevy Equinox before, but there is a first time for everything.
Next week, they are coming to redo the epoxy flooring in my garage, so I have to move everything out of there for it to get done. Some of the clearcoat peeled up, so they are installing a whole new floor.
Two more engines to build, then I am out of spares. These 5.0’s must be hard to get your hands on since both sold as soon as they were completed.
My 331 kit showed up today. Man, those pistons are SHORT!

Hope your good fortune selling these engines continues ... at this rate, your may have to find more engines to restore and sell.

I am trying to clean out my shop of all the extra parts and by doing so, get my funding for the 331 for the 65 vert. Not trying to go back into business.
When they are gone, any future ones will be for specific people that talk me into doing “just one more”.
