Good memory, you are right on!
I’m running Centric pads fore and aft right now looking down the road.

For “just driving” I have had good luck with OReilly brakebest pads

I'm running off the shelf semi metallic pads without issue.

I've run EBC on my WRX for many years with great results. Stick with the Greenstuff if you go with them.
Right not I have a set of Bendix semi-metallic pads on my F250 on Raybestos E3 rotors and that truck really stops well. I think all 4 wheels pads and rotors were like $250 from Rock Auto.

Per MS recommendations I got the oreilly Brakebest pads on my Mustangsteve 4 wheel disc set up.

I used semi-metallic brake pads for police/taxi service on Granada brakes.
I am using factory stock 2016 GT brake pads with existing setup.l with Raybestos rotors.
I have used Centric pads and rotors on some of the year round cars.

I will stick with the Centric Brand which is widely available here in Canada.
The nearest O’Reilly store is 100 miles away in Pennsylvania.

The Centric brake pads I used were “Ceramic”.
They worked great for the 2004 Burb and 2008 Malibu.

What I've discovered with ceramic pads is that they last a long time and don't create much dust, but they do not in my opinion stop nearly as well as semi metallic pads do. I've also had issues with noise, particularly in summer.
One other minor note, I don't use NAPA pads anymore because the last two sets I got did not fit the caliper brackets correctly. They were too tight and required grinding to slide smoothly. For the premium they cost I shouldn't have to do anything but install them. The Bendix pads I now use fit perfectly.

I totally agree ceramic pads do not typically stop as well as any other type.
Just about anything that claims Lifetime Warranty is typically not worth installing. Just not enough friction.

Shipping from US to Canada = $$$$
I’ll stick with semi- metallic Centrics.
