When I did mine Rick, I completely stripped the interior, seats console carpet, kick panels etc.
At the time I also shot rattle can white semi gloss paint under the dash to make it easier to see under there.
Did you end up getting some wire crimpers?

Yes, I purchased the AAW crimpers a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to wait at least a month - maybe more - before I start on the wiring project. It is just too hot down here right now. That will give me a chance to do some homework and get organized before I start. I also plan to strip everything out of the car before I start. Should be a fun project, perhaps with some frustration mixed in but fun nonetheless.

In getting organized, consider Rudi's suggestion and use white paint under the dash, it will really help being able to see under there ... wish I had done that when I had the car cleaned out.

Great , although I did this when I rewired, it was not my idea, got it from MS web site.
