I recently installed new rear calipers from Power Stop. For life of me I could not get the copper washers to seal properly without leaking. I heated them up, I tightened them up extremely tight, I flipped the washers over, I replaced the washers.... No Luck! Then I bought these washers. These washers fixed my leaking banjo bolts. Bought these off of Amazon.

I had the same problem with 2003 front calipers, the banjo was bottoming out on the body of the caliper before it tightened on the crush washer. It needed thicker crush washers.

Real solution is to grind off the end of the bolt a little bit.

Are these washers designed for high pressure and brake fluid?
I might use these for power steering, not sure I would use for brake system.

Those washers are copper for a reason. If the rubber fails or deteriorates you lose brakes. I would do as suggested, remove the bolt, take 1/16th of an inch off of it, and reinstall it with new copper washers.

I agree with the other posts; I’m not sure those rubber washers are for high-pressure, and trimming the bolts may work.

They are a Dowty seal. States they can be used for high pressure hydraulic lines. They are a metal washer with a slight rubber lip on the inner diameter. Not sure if they are compatible with brake fluid though. If the rubber failed, I think they would just start leaking a little again. I saw some speed shops online selling them for the banjo bolts. I may try making the bolts shorter with new copper washers to see if that works.
