1968 trunk lid torsion spring

My son and I switched the torsion rods around and the trunk now holds fine.

Cool! Glad to see you got it figured out. I sure do love that blue 68 (near and dear to my heart....) Can't wait to see the finished project!

Hopefully never have to touch those springs again...LOL    Love that color too on the 67 and 68.  Looks pretty close to yours.

Thanks guys for the nice comments.   I forgot how much fun hanging doors are. We spent a half day on one door and got it pretty close...LOL  Those aftermarket body parts just dont fit as nice as the originals.

65 Fastback, 351W, 5-speed, 4 wheel discs, 9" rear,  R&C Front End.

The 'thing' about after market doors and such........the owner is the only one that notices the poor fit.
Looks super to me........(hope it has a killer-cam ! )

   It does!  Its a Ed Curtis custom ground camshaft.  Wish I could post some video on here.
