I have 75 to 80 Granada disk brake hardware to put on 66 mustang. If I purchase inner and outer tire rods and 1966 mustang manual steering sleeves will they bolt up to my center link?

You will need these for outer tie rod to spindle connection.
Read the “Description” section as it has all information you should need.

Use the stock Mustang center link and the stock Mustang inner tie rods and adjusting sleeves.The outer tie rods are the only thing that is different.

I have been told to purchase Granada inner and outer tie rods along with sleeves for 66 mustang Manuel steering and this would eliminate the bushing for drivers side tire rod to spindle. Was just wondering if the inner Granada tie rods fit the stock center link on the car.

You need, for your 66 manual steering v8 center link, used with borgeson power steering.
66 mustang manual steering inner tie rods (power steering passenger side is same as manual)
Manual steering 66 mustang adjusting sleeves
75-80 granada outer tie rods

Hey guys my 66 mustang 289 was running rough so pulled the plugs and #3 plug had no tip, had melted completely, I had a no foul insert unit so don’t know if that part of problem or not wouldn’t think so. Also have sniper system on car I have been adjusting the air/fuel mixture off and on.

Izzat one of those JC Whitney do-dadz that screw into the spark plug hole to stop smokerz from fouling out the plugs?!
Usually...when the tip melts off the plug the fuel mixture is real lean.
We prolly gonna need more info on that 289 engine. age... condition...modifications...how you drive it...fuel used...etc.

Agree with Sal on the "foul insert unit". I remember my father used these on a 4-cyl engine back in the 60's that was excessively burning oil. All four plugs had there tips melting off.

All is good guess. I have put a throttle body on car and trying to adjust the fuel/air mixture

Probably ok but won’t be perfect. Only the toe setting would be affected.

I’m curious as to why the toe would change if the left and right tie rods position on the drag link are not disturbed.
Shouldn’t the toe stay the same even if idler and Pitman arm were disconnected form the drag link?
I occasionally confused lately and perhaps I’m missing something it but the early Mustang steering is about as basic as you can get.

My thinking is the angle of the idler arm might change if the old one was severely worn. You are correct it should not change, but not knowing the existing condition, I would play it safe. Of course, if the part is replaced and the car drives well, just measure the toe in the driveway and forget it. Most Mustangs need an alignment anyway.
