I stopped at the machine shop today to catch up with the owner.
He was working on a set of cylinder heads.
He was milling down the valve guide bosses.
The springs weren’t binding, however the dampers did not have space to move freely.
In the past, he had an engine that failed due to the damper binding.
Hope this can help someone.
