Before leaving for the Bash, I noticed some noise from driver’s side.
Initial investigation pointed to a bad or failing lower poly bushing.
On my way to Kansas, I stopped and picked up bearing kits to replace all poly bushings.
Works much better and quieter now.
Thanks to Alan, we were done in about 1-1/2 hours…tires on the ground.

Enjoyed having Dan here. The lift sure made that job a lot easier.

Hmmmm . . . . real bearings or new poly bushings?

Not poly.

Not enough surface area there to hold the weight of the entire front half of the car.

Nice fix.
What coilovers, lower arms and strut rods are you using?
I have those uppers and want to duplicate your front suspension, looking to clone yours as much as possible because that thing has great suspension response and turning flatness.

RCP…did not see this until today…or did I forget? 🤔
Coil overs are from CPP in California.
Kit comes with poly bushings and 350# springs for small blocks.
Initially installed with following:
Stock stye upper control arms with MustangSteve mods and offset control shaft
Stock stye lower control arms with Energy Suspension poly bushings
Stock strut rods with poly bushings (25+ years now)
1-1/8” Front sway bar (Mustangs Plus 90’s vintage)
Currently:
SOT upper control arms (for use with spring perches)
Stock style lower control arms with Energy Suspension poly bushings
NOS/RPM/RCP adjustable strut rods (primarily for bind free travel)
1-1/8” Front sway bar still
