5.0 Distributor - what have I got?

I was given this distributor as an auction item for our club’s annual banquet. Not sure what I have here. It looks to be new or remanned. It has the ignition module on it. It seems by the module is used on 83-93 5.0’s. The distributor number seems to be for 85-93 5.0’s. Does this have a steel or cast iron gear? Trying to figure on an auction value for this.

Steel gear with a roller cam sooooo after 85 it 'should' be steel. (unless......it's a truck distrib that still used FT cams for a few more years)  Thx Henry !
Look at it and you can tell.  Cast arn  is a bumpy/pimpley finish  Steel has a slicker finish.

Gear looks fully machined like a steel gear.

Thanks - steel gear then - what might it be worth as an auction price? Ballpark?

They're around $150 if you buy reman.  The truck ones I looked at all had cast iron gears.  The Mustang units have steel gears.  Dunno if that helps but could be fodder for the auctioneer to use.

Thanks John - that and the fact that it has the ignition module makes it worth a lot more.
