The 289 runs well and the c4 shifts gears smoothly. Water pump leaks but that 289 is coming out anyway.
New brakes still need more miles to get seated.
The car is now in storage again until sfter I recover from my back surgery, now scheduled for 3/13..
So far, I installed a 3.25 rear gear, rebuilt the rear brakes and installed new bearings, installed new front disc brakes and master cylinder, got the engine running, added fluid to the tranny to get it working, installed a rebuilt demon carb, a new gas tank (20 gallon) and pickup and replumbed the fuel lines.
Now the car runs on its own power and starts easily. I can’t wait until I am healed up enough to start the restoration.

Wow - you've really been productive with that car since I last saw it in September. Nice job! Just takes time and money and parts and tools and a great shop and the knowledge and experience to get it done. Now just have to complete the repairs on your back and heal up, and you'll be right "back" at it!
