Ever since I bought the 69 T5 coupe, it has had overly sensitive brakes. The car has factory power disc brakes. Light pedal pressure would stop the car if a normal stop is required. But, if you needed to stop quickly, it went into panic mode and locked up the rears. I was going to get around to fixing it... someday.
Yesterday I went to install the new Edelbrock front shocks, a 30 minute job. #THE LAW. During the job, I discovered the PO had installed the front calipers on the wrong side of the car. I am surprised it had any pedal at all. So, the job got extended a bit and the calipers were swapped. Then I discover my brake bleeder bottle I have had for 25 years has a crack in it, plus AFTER I get the calipers on the car, I twisted off one of the bleeder screws. So, $19.95 later I will have a replacement caliper in hand and hopefully can find a new bottle to replace my old faithful bleeder. The calipers looked fairly new, so I am only going to replace the one with the problem. I bet this cures the sensitive brakes and makes the car stop as it should. The front pads and rotors look brand new, as obviously they have never seen any braking action.

I know I have the Granada Brakes on my 69 and it doesn't take much foot pressure and your stopping quickly.
