Hinge Adjuster and Hood Adjuster Tool

I recently came across this being advertised. Has anyone had experience with using these?

Re: Hinge Adjuster and Hood Adjuster Tool

If you have a vise, welder, drill, and taps then I think these are over priced.  If you need them, the photos seem to be enough to be able to craft some.  Even the taps would be optional since you could weld in nuts to provide the threads.

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

Re: Hinge Adjuster and Hood Adjuster Tool

Not trying to be negative, but other than needing two, or three people, to assist with the alignment (so paint isn’t damaged) what is the advantage of these using these tools?

Re: Hinge Adjuster and Hood Adjuster Tool

Also not trying to be negative, but one person can do all that stuff using only simple tools, a little care, and your Mark 1 eyeball.  If you're really clumsy or worried about damage, a few layers of painter's tape provides excellent protection.
