I was doing some thinkin' and messin' around and thought I'd share in the Tips and How To's. It's less a conversion and more an adaptation. It seems to work though, and might save you a few bucks, depending on your supply of compatible gauges.

Could you provide the resistance value of the “new gauge”?
That may help if a different gauge is used.
Great use of older gauges.

The nominal resistance of the Mustang/Ford heated bimetal gauges is about 12.5Ω, so the total resistance of the circuit would be about 100Ω
