I bought the Shelby hood scoop and front racing apron that was on my last Mustang at Tony Branda Performance my question is does anyone know if the Scott Drake Scoop is the same scoop they look the same about the same price the one at Tony Branda is just a little more but just curious if they are made by same manufacturer. I am also wanting the side scoops this time did not have them on the last car.

Don't have the answer to your question but my experience with the side scoops is they look cool, but collect all kinds of debris (rocks, sand, tar, leaves, tire bits, and everything else that's out there on the roads). I went bonkers trying to keep the inside area clean and all the paint chips inside the scoops touched up. I hated that holes had to be drilled in the body to attach them too, although a previous owner had done that. I asked the body shop to not reinstall the scoops when I had the paint and body done, and haven't ever regretted it.
Just sayin'

I also can’t answer the question if they are the same. I suggest looking at a steel scoop vs.fiberglass. A steel scoop can be fitted to the steel hood better than a fiberglass one.

I had the fiberglass on the old one it fit good...have not seen a metal one before.

I Googled "1965-66 mustang metal hood scoop" and found a few. I have no idea how accurate they are to the original fiberglass scoop.

Billy had a bolt-on Shelby scoop on Por-15. I thought that was a good, inexpensive compromise to adding a scoop on a non-Shelby. Especially on a black car, where the seam is not so noticeable.

Just wondering if Scott Drake is the one making the bolt on fiberglass scoops for Tony Branda
