When I clicked your link to Summit Racing, I noticed the Summit Racing EFI unit.  I didn't realize they had one.  Have you heard anything about their EFI?

I didn’t make it to 3 minutes of that video and had to stop.

2Carguys don’t want to take the time to rebuild/tune a carburetor and get timing correct.

And if you have a “6sally6” sized cam in it, you’re not just gonna start it and go in less than 15 seconds.

Re: I know most dont like thelooks but has anybody got that Holley Sniper

YouTube has a playback speed feature.  I too often have it set to the max of 2x.  Also, I skip obvious sections of waste. I understand you.
Still, if I were looking at EFI I'd look at this because the ECU is separate so it could be mounted in an area of less heat.

The real question with anything Summit is who is really building it.  Everything branded Summit is made by someone else, and usually they are decent brands.

I had no intention of watching the video until you posted. Sheesh, instead of free parts they should be receiving free how-to advice on basic tuning.

Did you have a carb on same set up to start with?
Do have the distributor set up too?
I bet it gets better gas milage.

Re: I know most dont like thelooks but has anybody got that Holley Sniper

I found a reference that points out that the Summit EFI looks like the EFI from a company called FAST (Fuel Air Spark Technology).

Re: I know most dont like thelooks but has anybody got that Holley Sniper

Since I got my pellet grill up and running again…I decided to try watching the video again.
I still had to fast forward.😜

Reliable EFI systems have been around for over 30 years.

Remember the supporting components to support EFI adds to the cost.
Items such as fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, inertia fuel cutoff switch just to name a few.
Be realistic about your use and see if it’s worth it for you.

I like the separated TBI and ECM due to under hood temperatures.

As an electrician, heat does not play nice with electronic equipment.

Re: I know most dont like thelooks but has anybody got that Holley Sniper

I have the Holley MSD EFI on my Mustang for the past year.  The first unit had something wrong with it, and it was replaced w/o cost to me.  I have over 1K miles on it and an pleased with the change.  The car pulls much better in every gear at lower RPM than the 600 Holley DP it replaced.
Interesting, Holley Tech people told me to use the "Sniper" detailed instructions to setup the MSD unit.
I have not 'played' with tuning since initial installation.  The system is still in "learning" mode which I thought would take a couple of hundred miles.  I need to follow up w/Holley tech people for fine tuning.
With the air cleaner on, it covers the unit.  The height of the EFI unit is about the same height of the Holley carburetor.

FAST has a good reputation from what I've seen/read.  My only real aftermarket experience was years ago with an ACCEL DFI system.  I was not impressed.

Yes billy I started out with a Eldi carb but knew the new motor would like the EFI better so I went for it. I have the Holley intank pump, I run a dual plane intake without a spacer, have ported heads 9.5 compreson, long tube headers  and get 17 all over the USA on regular gas. My dissy is a new stock with pertronix.
